This Global Forum Policy has been compiled by staff and must be followed at all times, in all places of the forum. If you cannot understand it, please PM me.
A: All posts must conform to the ProBoards Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Posts promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol or sex.
- Posts depicting pornographic, nude or sexually suggestive scenes.
- Posts not suitable for a PG-13 audience.
- Posts containing excessive hatred or profanity.
- "Spam": duplicate posts, gibberish, or excessively short posts.
- Posts in violation of copyright.
- Posts solely in a language other than English.
B: All posts must also conform to the following rules set out by the forum:
- Do not "hijack" threads. This can be described as "going off-topic".
- Advertising is not permitted in any post forumwide.
- "Flaming" is not permitted. This is remarks, insults or threats directed towards a certain person or group of people.
- Double posting unless permitted by the board rules is not allowed.
- Excessive swearing or cursing is not allowed.
C: Posts must make a reasonable attempt to use proper spelling and grammar. "txt tlk" or "1337 speak" is not allowed.
D: Topic titles must not be excessively capitalized or exclamatized.
E: Personal Messages must conform to sections A and B. PMs must be sent for a legitimate reason, especially to staff. Advertisements and recruitments must not be sent via PM.
F: All profile information should be true to the user. All information must also conform to sections A and B. Signatures must remain below 500 pixels in width and 250 pixels in height.
Discipline
G: Posts that are in violation of this forum policy may be removed or locked by a member of staff. A reason will be provided at all times.
H: Warning levels may be increased at any member of staff's discretion. This must not be disputed without good reason. Disputes must be discussed via personal message.
I: After a verbal warning the member shall get a 20% warning and after two weeks the warning will be dropped as long as the user has not broken a rule since then. Every time a rule is broken after the first the warning will increase by 20%.
J: 100% on the meter will result in a ban of a length decided by the staff. Those evading bans will be banned permanently.
