To tell you the truth I don't fully comprehend the difference between the two types; but in short research, I guess it's a notable upgrade. Could you maybe shed a little light on it?

Ok...It is basically people who have the rabbit ear antennas! They need digital which they can do a whole lot more with that. Plus , FREE HD!!!!!!!! They are giving the analog to the Emergency people for like Radio use.
I AM SO TIRED OF THOSE COMMERCIALS!!!
Feb. 17th Fox , My Network TV , and CW June 12th All the others...
Can the Nashville Market get this done already....?

umm. Nathan. Do some research, or even read the article. Thats alot more than the 3 you said. so saying those 3 and then saying the rest are in june, is very inaccurate. and to answer your question... electronics.howstuffworks.com/question7.htm

Who really cares if you are in HD or not?
2 stations here in Nashville have a big huge HD thing on their logo.
